What is Meetingize?
Meetingize is a web and iPhone app that records your real meetings and appointments, in person or by phone, transcribes them with each utterance attributed to its speaker, turns them into a summary with decisions and action items, then into the documents your profession needs. All your meetings stay in a history you can browse or query from your AI assistant.
How do I transcribe a one-hour meeting with several speakers?
Record the meeting with the Meetingize iPhone app, or upload the audio file on the web: the transcript is produced automatically, timestamped, with each sentence attributed to its speaker. A meeting can last up to 3 hours on the Standard and Pro plans, with up to 10 distinct speakers on Standard and 20 on Pro.
Does Meetingize work for in-person meetings, without a video call?
Yes, that is its primary use. The iPhone app records the room audio for the whole meeting, even if the phone gets a call or goes to the background. For a video call, simply upload its recording: it goes through the same processing.
Can I record a phone call with Meetingize?
Coming soon. Today, upload the call recording on the web. During the call, add your Meetingize number and merge (iPhone or Android). A voice message informs both parties of the recording, then the call is transcribed like a meeting. The Pro and Compliance plans include 120 and 500 call minutes per month respectively.
How do I find what was said in a meeting several months ago?
All your meetings stay in your Meetingize history, with their transcript, summary, decisions and action items. Find them by client, date or participant, or ask your AI assistant connected to Meetingize: it searches your meetings and quotes timestamped passages. Analyses are kept with no time limit on paid plans.
Which documents does Meetingize generate?
Every meeting first gets a general summary: key points, decisions, action items. Then pick a professional persona to generate the document specific to your profession: minutes, summary, or specialised documents (for example an IDD advice record or a MiFID II suitability report for advisers). You review and adjust before sharing or exporting.
Can I query my meetings from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes, with the Meetingize MCP connector. Paste its address into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client, approve access in Meetingize (OAuth, read-only by default), then ask your questions: your assistant finds your meetings and quotes the passages. Disconnect it in one click in Settings > Connected applications.
How is it different from Otter, Fireflies or tl;dv?
Otter, Fireflies and tl;dv are general meeting assistants: they mostly join video calls and also offer mobile apps. Meetingize is built for real conversations, over time: in-person appointments, phone calls, documents by profession, a history you can query from your AI assistant, certifiable documents and data hosted in France.
I already write my notes with ChatGPT: why use Meetingize?
ChatGPT can summarise audio you give it. Meetingize does the rest: an iPhone recorder that lasts through hours-long meetings, call recording (coming soon), speaker attribution for every participant, documents by profession, and above all the history of all your meetings, which ChatGPT can then query through the MCP connector.
What is a document certified by Meetingize?
A document whose digital fingerprint (SHA-256) and date Meetingize recorded at certification. Any later change produces a different fingerprint. The PDF carries a QR code that opens a public verification page, without showing the content. It is a technical record, not a legal guarantee nor a certificate of regulatory compliance.
Certification is optional: it is not needed to share or export a document.
Where is Meetingize data hosted?
In France. Recordings and documents are stored on dedicated Scaleway servers located in France (European Union), run directly by the publisher. AI models are used for inference only: your meetings are not used to train them.
Is Meetingize ISO 27001 or HDS certified?
No. Meetingize does not claim any security certification at this time (ISO 27001, HDS or other). What is in place: hosting on dedicated servers in France, infrastructure run by the publisher, personal data anonymisation, sharing by explicit permission and retention periods defined per plan.
How much does Meetingize cost?
Meetingize has a free plan (4 hours of processing in total, 10 documents), Standard at €14.9 per month (24 hours of audio and 40 documents per month), Pro at €34.9 per month (100 hours of audio, 300 documents and 120 call minutes per month (coming soon)) and Compliance at €69 per month (Pro plus regulatory templates, certification, audit export, 500 call minutes per month (coming soon) and 5-year retention). Prices include VAT.
Do I need to tell people before recording a meeting?
Yes. Inform participants and get their consent before recording. In France, article 226-1 of the Penal Code punishes recording private or confidential words without consent, and the GDPR requires informing people. For calls, Meetingize plays an automatic notice. This is not legal advice.
Does Meetingize have an API?
Yes: REST API (meetings, transcripts as JSON, Markdown, SRT or VTT, reports, LLM-ready export, document generation, audio upload), scoped keys and OAuth 2.1, HMAC-SHA256 signed webhooks, OpenAPI specification and an interactive explorer. Every plan includes a monthly API allowance; beyond it, pay for real consumption with a spend cap you set.
Which devices and languages does Meetingize support?
Meetingize runs in a web browser and on iPhone with the iOS app; phone calls will soon be recordable from any phone. There is no Android app at this time. The interface is available in French and English.
